NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. - Longtime New Rochelle resident, Dominic "Ben" Mussolini died Jan. 11. He was 85.
The son of the late Nicholas and Angelia Mussolini, he was born June 6, 1926 in Bronx, N.Y. Mussolini served in the Army during World War II as a military police officer.
On May 1, 1954, Mussolini married the former Grace Pellegrino, who survives him. He worked as a tailor for many years and was a New York Yankees and Giants fan.
He is also survived by his twin sons Nicholas (Mary Ann) Mussolini and Andrew (Angela) Mussolini, his brother Pat (Be a) Mussolini and two granddaughters.
Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. on Friday at Lloyd Maxcy & Sons Beauchamp Chapel in New Rochelle. A funeral mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday at Holy Name Church in New Rochelle, followed by interment at Beechwoods Cemetery in New Rochelle.
